The lit pyre burns so bright

Never knew it would be so sudden. No words can express the loss and void. This short poem is from Aarush who was quite shaken in the last few days and still tring his best to overcome the loss, which will not happen anytime.

The lit pyre burns so bright

All that someone was in flesh becomes ashes Here today and gone tomorrow Their whole body turns to heat and light

All I remember of him are short flashes Of all the things I recollect of him now

I remember the shore of the lake where we ran And now what remains of him goes into the lake’s tranquil waters.

Here today gone tomorrow We all have covered so many miles with you Too many jokes shared with so many smiles with you It just pain now to say adieu

Thanks a lot for many memories and our shared breakfast dosas and coffees
