Morning Star

Morning Star - Photo by Wes Hicks on Unsplash

It is a cold night and I wonder where you are
It is the darkest moment of my life
But I know you won’t be too far
Your glory cuts through the darkness like the sharpest knife

You give the Earth its light, angel
Illuminating God’s kingdom so pure and beautiful
Serenity and tranquility are restored by your light
Which was earlier lost to the chaos of the night

Thank you for giving me a wonderful morning
Thank you for thy light and warmth
How can I repay you Seraph for giving me everything
You are the world’s joy forever and ever, Morningstar
