The Long Run

Mera Terah Run - 2024 - Mindful stride

A million miles were covered but there are a million miles to go
Running before dawn, now the sky turns yellow
Adrenaline in your blood, gushing like spring water flow
Can’t stop until the finish line is in sight

Have to run along till the ends of the Earth
Have to run along the road made of either dirt or asphalt
Talking to comrades on the trail with a cheerful tone
Moving ahead with a strong lionheart even if alone
Can’t stop until I cross that finish line

I am the commander of this life
I am the conqueror of my own fear
I am the overlord of my fate
I want to run cause I can’t wait
To join my comrades on the other side of that finish line
