Well, it’s been a long time since I last blogged. I’m back in Paris, and Pamela will join me in a month’s time. The title of this post couldn’t be more fitting, as I’m really missing the sun after returning from India. I like rain after a very hot summer or sunny days with a cool breeze. I really can’t take these dark, cloudy days that make me feel gloomy. Looking out of my window, I can’t even tell if it’s 11 AM or 3 PM. If you still don’t know what I’m talking about, ask the hobbits! 😉
My vacation in India was great. I’ll try to post about a few incidents later. I hope not to forget them before my little brain gets clogged with daily activities. I should at least write about the changing face of India where guys are getting pedicures in a so-called normal hairdressing salon. That should be followed by my experience of flying with Air Deccan, the low-cost, no-frill airline, and my trip to Sikkim and the Dooars (Forests of North Bengal). There are more stories, but I think I should keep them a secret for a while… The final part of my journey was flying from Doha to Paris.
I just got back my PC yesterday. I hope it works for the next two years without any trouble, as I really don’t have the momentum to keep up the big fight. Anyway, I’m happy that I’m going to meet some friends soon this weekend. One worth mentioning is Shubhankar, whom I haven’t seen in 11 years. I’ll keep you posted…
